چکیده
Background: In dogs, bullous pemphigoid (BP) is a subepithelial autoimmune disease, rare dermatopathy in the clinical routine. BP characterized by formation of vesicles and subepidermal blisters that result from dissolution dermal-epithelial junction. Clinical signs usually include severe dermatological alterations with variable prognosis. The aim this work to report case dog contribute information for diagnosis, present pathological aspects emerge during development BP.Case: An adult male mongrel exhibited hyperemic, exudative, crusty lesions on lip commissure periocular areas. Results laboratory tests were normal. parasitological mycological skin scrapings negative. Imprint cytology crusts revealed presence gram-positive cocci bacteria. histopathological analysis punch biopsy material, epidermis was detached dermis, leading vesicles. There inflammatory infiltrates containing neutrophils, eosinophils, high amounts fibrin, areas multifocal orthokeratotic hyperkeratosis. Multifocal lymphocytes, histiocytes, plasma cells observed superficial portions which indicated diagnosis BP. After definitive animal treated enrofloxacin (Baytril Flavour®; 5 mg/kg once day 10 days), prednisolone (Prediderm®; 2 until further instructions). On follow-up visit, 15 days later, picture had improved, decreased. Continuity treatment prescribed, along gradual decrease corticoid dose. dose initially reduced 1 day, later 0.5 improvement status patient. Remission 13 weeks later.Discussion: established after identification cutaneous observation microscopic findings material obtained ocular regions. does not exhibit breed or sex predisposition, affects dogs. are characteristic diseases affect dermoepidermal junction, consist erythematous, ulcerated, crusty, painful nose, dorsal area muzzle, periorbital region. However, these must be differentiated, histological analysis, several other conditions similar presentation. Diseases considered differential comprise variants pemphigus complex, lupus erythematosus, drug eruption, erythema multiforme, toxic epidermal necrolysis, epitheliotropic lymphoma, inherited epidermolysis, mucous membrane pemphigoid, lymphoreticular neoplasia. clinicopathological compatible occurrence necrotic erythematous due production antibodies accompanied strong response results loss cell adhesion necrosis. detachment inflammation portion histiocytes at examination warranted establishment therapeutic success. lack recurrence manifestations 43 end glucocorticoid demonstrated approach cooperation owner essential success treatment.

Localized genital bullous pemphigoid; A case report
Bullous pemphigoid (BP) is an autoimmune bullous disorder with urticarial pruritic papules and plaques and tense bullae in flexural surfaces of body. The localized form of the disease is a rare variant which can be triggered by different stimuli. Hereunder, we report a patient with the local type involving genitalia without any triggering factors.

Disease summary: Bullous Pemphigoid is an acquired, chronic, blistering autoimmune subepidermal bullous disease in which autoantibodies are directed against component of basement membrane zone of the skin [1]. It is characterized by formation of cutaneous bullae on the skin and mucous membrane. The pathogenesis involves migration of inflammatory cells into subepithilial tissues due to activatio...

B ullous pemphigoid is an autoimmune disease, which means that the cells in the body that normally fight infection attack the body instead. The body’s immune system is confused and makes an antibody (type of protein used to fight infection) that targets a part of the skin that normally holds it together. The attack on the skin causes blisters (firm, fluid-filled bubbles on the skin) to form. Th...

Bullous pemphigoid (BP) is a subepidermal blistering disease associated with circulating autoantibodies directed against structural components of hemidesmosomes, adhesion complexes promoting epithelial-stromal adhesion in human skin, and other complex epithelia. Two hemidesmosomal proteins, the BP antigen 180 (BP180) and the BP antigen 230 (BP230), have been shown to be the target antigens.1,2 ...
